Spain and its seismicity

My country is Spain, and although it is located at the edge of the eurasian plate next to the african plate it is not really concerned with too many earthquakes. Most of the quakes that they experience are on the edge of their plate. Looking at its history it has experienced great magnitude earthquakes but their frequency is very low and they occur in long time intervals.
